"Remembering the Fallen"
"TO THE SOUND PATRIOTS OF OUR COUNTRY"
This organization helps veterans through a vast system of network connections. We do this to providing services for our members such as, help filling out fasfa, help filling out the G.I. Bill, help filing for Vocational Rehabilitation, or help with any other financial issues. The idea behind this organization is that if the veterans of today can get proper SUPPORT AND REPRESENTATION, THEN MANY OF THE HARDSHIPS PATRIOTS OF THE PAST EXPERIENCED MIGHT BE AVOIDED. There are many opportunities for Veterans to step up and become leaders in their communities. ASVO has many committees in need of members and chairmen such as Operation healing Water, Past to Present Veteran Outreach program, Student Government watch committee, and even the ASVO Golf Committee. If you are a Student Veteran let your voice be heard. We need dedicated individuals that our willing to step up to help themselves, and others, by joining the ASVO team.

Arkansas Student Veterans Organization has voted and the results are in, the current officers will still hold office until the beginning of the fall semester. The result are as follows President Aaron Whitcomb, Vice President Jonathan Wheeler, Treasure Tracy Wineland, Secretary Blake Pepper, and Master at Arms Derrick Smith. Thank you for your time any questions feel free to contact us. "Next Meeting"
The ASVO bi-monthly socials have been held at the VFW and were  raving successes. I would like to extend my thanks to all the members that were able to make it. We have turned in the applications for free membership to the VFW, so expect to recieve your card in the mail. I hope everyone had a great holiday, I certainly did. The next meeting will be voted on.Currently we have been considering having atleast one meeting each month on paraguald, due to the amount of members from that area. The later time is due to the work schedual of many of the student Veterans during the summer and will continue to keep this time for the remainder of the summer.I am sorry for any inconveniece. I have also adding some of the military friendly scholarship websites so feel free to check them out. They are in the site map section of the website.

The Student Veterans Association is an organization set up to bring past and current members of the Armed Forces together to promote, unify and advocate for the veteran voice on and off campus. Our aim is to educate the community about how the military has affected our lives and to support one another through the process of re-integration. Our goals are to promote, advocate for and unify the veteran voice on campus. This group is about PEOPLE not politics.
